Rarity

Just like your Rainbow Dash portrait, you did a phenomenal job at drawing each and every individual strand of hair, making the overall mane appear to be realistic. Not only that, but this piece is also flowing with personality. The way that you have Rarity keep her eyes half open, turn her body, look behind herself, and tilt her head back genially displays her elegance and flirtatiousness. But I think what I like most is the makeup. In the show, the eye shadow is animated as if it’s actual a part of her coat. Here, however, you make it appear very thick just like makeup is supposed to look. My only criticism is to open the mouth a little more. Having it invert like that but then not giving it an opening looks a little awkward. Other than that, however, I think this illustration is lovely. Not only does it have a great amount of detail, but it also showcases Rarity’s persona beautifully. It’s definitely one of the best Rarity portraits I’ve seen in a while, and I can’t wait to review more of your great artwork. I suggest you keep it going, Crazyandiknowit!
